Summer Show Satuday Ocotber 2005
What a glorious day, warm and sunny, how summer should be.
We had 261 pigeons on show, not bad for this time of the year.
The show was held at the usual venue of the
Weston Mill Oak Villa
Social Club in Plymouth.
Our thanks go to all the exhibitors and judges for their
continued support.
Also to all our club members who work so hard behind the
scenes to make it an enjoyable day for everyone.
A special thank you to Ken Mitchell,
the late Percy Mitchell’s son, a great Show Racer man,
for presenting the prizes.
There was a surprise in store for Emily and Les Dawson,
although still judging and showing at local shows the long
distance shows are now becoming a bit too much.
But in appreciation of their dedication and friendship
over the years.
Billy Sinkins, on behalf of the Swansea Club
presented them with a clock with a print tippler face.
Roy Wetherall, from the South Coast Club presented them
with a lovely china keepsake.
